Ancient Olympics

 The Olympics began over two and a half years thousand years ago in  Ancient Greece during the Olympics states who were at war stopped fighting. This event was in a place called Olympia. They were held every 4 years in honour of Zeus lord of the gods. Eventually the ancient Olympics were banned by the Christians who didn't like the games. But the Olympics were always remembered for peace.
